Think of this initial conversation as a chance for us to gauge your qualifications and interest in the position, and for you to ask questions about the opportunity and our company. If you and our recruiter feel there’s mutual interest, we’ll invite you to an in-person interview at our headquarters in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota.
When you visit our campus, you’ll meet with a variety of people, depending on the position. You’ll also have a chance to see our office and get a feel for our culture. Ask questions along the way, and we’ll provide answers and insight to give you a comprehensive impression of Securian Financial.
If you’re applying for one of our internship programs, the interview process may begin with an interview on your college campus. If we’d like you to join our program, we’ll invite you to our offices for an in-person interview.
New employee orientation
All new Securian Financial employees start on one of 20 common start dates with cohorts of about 15 other new employees. Together, you’ll go through our enterprise onboarding program.
This comprehensive journey connects new employees with each other, the core of who we are, who our customers are and how we help them secure their futures. You’ll receive foundational information and learn how your role connects to the big picture at Securian Financial.
