Securian Financial

Financial strength you can count on

At Securian Financial, we help our customers and their families build secure tomorrows.

Throughout our 140-year history, we have persevered through world wars, the Great Depression, the events of September 11, 2001, the recession of 2008-2009, and countless other periods of market volatility and sustained economic downturn.

During these times, two constants have remained true: our ability to face whatever economic conditions come our way and our unwavering commitment to deliver on the promises we make. We will be here when you need us.

Mutual governance

As a mutual holding company, Securian Financial is not publicly traded. This structure allows us to focus on the long-term financial security of our customers.

Managing for the long term
