21 years in a row: Securian again named a Best Place to Work in IT

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For the 21st time in as many years, Securian Financial Group has made Computerworld’s annual list of the 100 Best Places to Work in IT.

Computerworld’s list is an annual ranking of the top 100 work environments for technology professionals. The list is compiled based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as career development, retention, benefits and training. In addition, Computerworld conducts extensive surveys of IT workers, and their responses factor heavily in determining the ranking.

“It’s an honor to once again be recognized as one of the best places to work in IT by the industry’s leading trade publication,” said Jean Delaney Nelson, a Securian senior vice president and the company’s chief information officer. “While so much has changed in IT over the past 21 years, Securian’s commitment to technology excellence has remained constant.”

Delaney Nelson attributes Securian’s consecutive appearances on the Computerworld list to a positive work environment, strong collaboration with the company’s business units and Securian’s willingness to invest in technology to meet its clients’ needs.
