Securian named StarTribune "Top Workplace" for 6th straight year

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Securian Financial Group has again been recognized by its associates as one of Minnesota’s best employers, this year ranking 15th in the large company category on the Star Tribune’s annual list of “Top Workplaces.” Securian is one of just 13 companies to make the Star Tribune’s list in each of the six years it has been published.

“We take tremendous pride in our associates saying, year after year, that Securian is a great place to work,” said Mary Streed, Securian’s second vice president of human resources planning.

This year, more than 2,100 companies were invited to compete for inclusion on the Star Tribune top workplaces list. To qualify, a company must have at least 50 employees in Minnesota and agree to allow WorkplaceDynamics, an employee engagement and retention firm, to send employees a confidential survey. At least 35 percent of a company’s employees must respond, and selections to the top workplaces list are based solely on the employee survey submissions.

The Star Tribune’s top workplaces special section was published on Sunday, June 14, and can be read online here.
