As a Business Technology associate, you’ll work towards a rewarding career in one of Securian’s business technology areas. You will be part of a multi-discipline team responsible for promoting and supporting the effective use of technology to achieve successful results for our clients, distribution partners and associates.

What to expect
You will be a team member in one of our business technology departments – including Individual Life Insurance, Group Insurance, Financial Institution Group, Retirement Plans, Individual Annuity, Wealth Management Group and Corporate Services – to define and deliver technology solutions that satisfy the needs of Securian’s internal and external customers.
Business technology job responsibilities vary by role and may include:
- Planning, defining requirements and analyzing business needs to implement project and system changes
- Collaborating with Information Technology and different business areas to define needs and design solutions
- Ensuring quality, consistency and usability of Securian’s systems
- Providing testing functions, requirements, discovery and analysis services for new development and system changes
