Working together, Securian Financial carried out a four direct touchpoint marketing campaign targeting the employee population to effectively promote and communicate the company's benefits. The campaign provided a mix of print and digital strategies that covered the gamut of employee preferences to increase awareness and give employees the opportunity to engage with the tool including:

  • Emails sent to all eligible insureds at the beginning and during annual enrollment

  • Reminder email sent to all insureds to take action during enrollment

  • Postcard to all eligible insureds during annual enrollment


Employees that completed the Benefit Scout experience to receive their recommendation.

Securian Financial coordinated with a large university to develop a strategic marketing campaign with three direct touchpoints. The campaign provided a mix of print and digital strategies to cover employee communication preferences which lead to increased awareness of the company's benefits and encouraged employees to engage with Benefit Scout®. These communications included:

  • Email sent to all eligible employees one week prior to annual enrollment
  • Reminder email sent to all eligible employees encouraging action during annual enrollment
  • Postcard sent to all eligible employees set to arrive around the start of annual enrollment
  • Provided language to highlight Benefit Scout® on the client’s intranet site
