According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), cancer is the second-leading cause of death in the United States.Health related bills and other expenses can quickly add up if you’re diagnosed with a critical illness like cancer.

Securian Financial pays you up to $30K

That’s right. Your critical illness benefits provides a $15,000 or $30,000 cash payment, depending on your election. So if you are diagnosed with a covered critical illness, you may use this benefit to keep your out-of-pocket expenses to a minimum.

The cash payment you receive from Securian Financial does not have to be used to pay your health insurance out-of-pocket costs. It can also be used for any unexpected costs (medical or non-medical).
