Revenue-based compensation

Our revenue-based compensation structure recognizes all sources of a financial professional’s revenue produced through the Securian Financial system. Your total grid revenue will be a combination of your investment and risk revenue. The following types of businesses will be included in those categories:

Investment-grid revenue

  • Mutual funds
  • Individual annuities
  • Group annuities/retirement plans
  • Financial planning
  • Investment advisory
  • General securities
  • Trust services

Risk-grid revenue

  • Life insurance
  • Disability insurance
  • Long-term care (LTC)
