Multi-touch point communications increase participation by 6 percent

Our experienced marketing team collaborated with a transportation company to develop a marketing campaign to promote and communicate the company's benefits to employees.

This campaign led to a six percent1 increase in supplemental coverage participation and included a mix of print and digital strategies to increase awareness and give employees the opportunity to engage with Benefit Scout.

Client communications included:

  • Initial and reminder emails sent to all eligible employees at the beginning and during annual enrollment to encourage enrollment
  • Reminder postcard mailed to all eligible employees during annual enrollment

Together with a large university, we developed a marketing plan based on key goals and objectives and created and launched a strategic campaign. The campaign led to a three percent increase in employee supplemental coverage participation and provided a mix of print and digital strategies. These strategies spanned employee communication preferences, increased awareness of the company's benefits, and encouraged employees to engage with Benefit Scout.

These communications included:

  • Email and postcard sent to all eligible employees prior to enrollment
  • Reminder email sent to all eligible employees encouraging action during enrollment period
  • Highlighted Benefit Scout® on the client’s intranet site
