Bruce leads our Employee Benefits Solutions Group, which is comprised of our Group Insurance and Retirement business lines. He is also responsible for enterprise marketing, our Reputation Management Committee and other enterprise initiatives. Bruce also serves as chairman of the board for the Canadian Premier companies, which are subsidiaries of Securian Financial Group.

Experience

Bruce joined Securian Financial in 1985. He held several sales and management positions with our retirement area before being named senior vice president in 2004. In 2010, Bruce was promoted to executive vice president. Throughout his career he has also been involved in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, enterprise risk management and product distribution/business development.

Bruce currently serves as board chair of Think Bank. He has also served on several other boards and industry organizations including St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, Twin Cities Public Television, LIMRA Pension Committee, the National Association of Life Underwriters and Children’s Minnesota.
