ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Securian Financial Group has hired Philip Bogard as regional sales vice president for the southern region of its Group Insurance division. Bogard is responsible for leading the company’s sales of group life, AD&D, critical illness, accident and hospital indemnity insurance benefits to large employers in 11 southern states and the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining Securian, Bogard worked 25 years in group insurance sales and sales management roles with Unum and Prudential. He has a bachelor of business administration degree from Albion College and holds life and health, Series 6 and Series 63 licenses.
Bogard is based in Atlanta, where he lives with his wife and two children.
