It’s time to stuff the sleigh!

Help collect toys for kids in need

Securian Financial is hosting a KSTP 5 Eyewitness News “Stuff the Sleigh” holiday toy collection on December 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Many families in the Twin Cities need a little extra help making the holidays merry. To share the spirit of the season, members of the public are invited to donate new, unwrapped toys in the skyway level at our headquarters, 400 Robert Street North in St. Paul. Cash gifts will also be accepted on site.

This is the main downtown St. Paul event for Stuff the Sleigh. KSTP will advertise the event and film live during the lunchtime toy collection. Uniformed officers from the St. Paul Police Department, a partner for this annual toy drive, will be on hand to help collect gifts.

Toys from Stuff the Sleigh go to the following local charities to distribute to children in all age groups — from infants to teens:

  • Minneapolis and St. Paul Police Departments: Distributing gifts at the police foundation’s child holiday initiatives at local hospitals, churches, schools and neighborhoods.
  • Pinkyswear Foundation: Donations will benefit children and families affected by cancer.
  • Children’s Home Society of Minnesota: Distributing holiday gifts to children under foster care.
