ChFC® Pathway

This four-year program provides a unique cohort experience. It blends ChFC courses taught by the reputable American College with Securian Financial training to inform you on specifics regarding implementing what you’ve learned in your practice. Ultimately, you will earn the ChFC designation.

A practice assessment with personalized coaching completed over a three-month period via teleconference with an industry expert.

Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®)

The CFP® certification will help you take a holistic, personalized approach to bring all the pieces of a client’s financial life together. You’ll study key areas of comprehensive financial planning.

Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®)

By obtaining the ChFC®, you’ll gain well rounded knowledge on ethical financial planning for individuals, professionals and small business owners.

Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®)

Learn from nationally recognized experts on how to apply knowledge in life insurance. The designation will help you to understand the complexities of life insurance to benefit your clients.

CEPA Pathway

Prepares you to provide comprehensive services that meet the business owner market’s unique needs. Earn the CEPA designation through the Exit Planning Institute (EPI).

RICP® Pathway

Positions you to work with clients at or near retirement who desire to meet retirement income and other financial goals. RICP courses taught by The American College enable you to make more informed recommendations regarding your client’s retirement income.

Symposium

Learn from industry experts and peers during platform presentations, field panels and breakout sessions. Topics focus on practice management, professional growth and industry updates.

Private Briefing

Features in-depth information and education on investment portfolios, including economic updates and portfolio manager presentations.

Retirement Plan Services

A program for financial professionals who have significant experience working with employer-sponsored qualified retirement plans such as 401(k)s. Using the Plan Services contract, you can act as a 3(21) investment fiduciary for a plan.

Designation Reimbursement Program

The AIF®, LUTCF®, RICP® and CPFA designations are offered to help you specialize in your career.

Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®)

The AIF® provides you the ability and confidence to advise clients as an investment fiduciary.

Life Underwriting Training Council fellow (LUTCF®)

As an insurance agent, you’ll learn fundamental prospecting, selling and practice management skills as well as working knowledge of practice specialties including life and health insurance, employee benefits and annuities.

Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®)

This designation equips you with retirement income distribution strategies that you can provide to clients in retirement.

Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA)

In obtaining the CPFA, you’ll learn how to provide sound fiduciary services for retirement plans. We also encourage our financial professionals to customize their practices by offering an additional 40 approved designations (non-reimbursable).

Marketing and Content Center

A good marketing plan is key to your success. Here, with the Marketing and Content Center, you will get our full-scale support. You will have access to best practices training, a robust content catalog and a curated group of third-party client acquisition and marketing vendors.

Marketing best practices is all about training on different kinds of marketing and prospecting activities. You will learn how to build your brand, discover opportunities and methods to find new prospects, learn effective ways to stay in front of prospects, follow up with clients and leverage your relationships.

Marketing content catalog is where you will find all the preapproved materials you can start using today with your prospects and clients including seminars, articles, newsletters and more.

Marketing vendor directory is where you will find a comprehensive list of all the marketing and client acquisition vendors available that you can start working with today. All the vendors are either specific to client acquisition or have a secondary marketing function.
