Securian offers over 70 Noontime Seminars each year on a wide range of topics based on associate survey responses. These informal seminars, to which many associates bring their lunch, enable associates to learn about subjects of personal interest in a convenient location. Popular topics include parenting, wellness, relationships/family communication, financial planning, household management, and gardening tips.

Career coaching offered through Training and Development can help associates adjust to new positions and provide guidance in their current responsibilities by honing in on individual development plans. In addition, Training and Development consultants are available to provide one-on-one coaching and skill/interest assessments to associates.
