What Women Really Want
Securian recently conducted a web-based survey of 400 women ages 30-65 in a variety of family situations. We measured attitudes toward personal finance, retirement, caring for aging parents and more. Surprisingly, we found that nearly two in three women are not satisfied with their current financial situation. We also found that the same percentage wouldn't know where to go to get financial advice they could trust. Most importantly, we found that women today want financial security, and they need customized financial strategies for their specific situations.
