Financial security for the long run

Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It's not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; it's when you've had everything to do and you've done it.

What women really want. According to a recent Securian survey, what most women really want is financial security for themselves and their families. The good news is that with the right resources and expertise, it's an achievable goal. Some of our survey's findings include:

  • Almost two thirds of women surveyed were not satisfied with their current financial situation (65%).
  • More than half said after meeting current financial obligations, they have little left to put away for retirement (57%).
  • Sixty percent felt primarily responsible for making sure their parents received good long term health care (60%).
  • Roughly 40 percent of women cited their biggest fear as becoming a financial burden to their family (41%).
In response to our survey, we've developed efficient resources to help women address the financial challenges of specific life stages.
