Kerry has spent her entire career in the financial services industry. Her 23 years of experience at Securian have focused on retirement plans, investments and annuities. In her current position with Securian, Kerry is responsible for annuity product development, sales support and marketing.

From 1996 through 2001, Kerry was the Marketing Director, Accumulations, where she oversaw the marketing for Securian’s broker-dealer, proprietary mutual funds and annuities. In 2001, Kerry spearheaded the successful development of a strategic plan to revitalize and grow the annuity line, along with other key initiatives that continue to address the growing retirement income needs of Americans. 

Kerry has had a long affiliation with the National Association for Variable Annuities (NAVA), serving in key positions and committees. Currently she is serving as the Chairwoman of the National Association for Variable Annuities (NAVA) Retirement Income committee. She also serves on the LIMRA’s Retirement Income Round-Table.

Kerry has also been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, promoting and supporting the importance of women preparing for their retirement years. 

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with honors from Cardinal Stritch University. Kerry has earned her CLU designation in 1987, completed her ChFC in 1988 and obtained the American College CASL in 2005. She completed the CEBS program in 1992. Kerry is also an investment advisor representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc.
