During college, Mike worked two jobs to help pay his way through school: helping his parents run their family restaurant and working for UPS. While working for UPS, Mike worked his way up to a full-time information technology management position. Mike joined Securian in 1990 as a programmer analyst, and has held various positions in the Company’s Information Services department. First helping support corporate and pension departments, Mike moved to Group Systems in 1996 as a systems analyst. In 1999, he was promoted to his current position as project manager. “I’ve been fortunate to work with fine people during my time with Securian. I’ve learned a lot from my coworkers and managers, which has shaped the way I approach my job today. And by working on a variety of projects each day, my job continues to be very interesting.”
In the summer of 2000, Leah participated in Securian’s Internship Program as a programmer with our Information Services department.
