Philanthropy
Securian is committed to being a good corporate citizen by enhancing the quality of life and vitality of our community in a number of ways. Our Corporate Giving Program and corporate foundation are examples of our commitment to the community. In 2007, corporate philanthropy and gifts through the Securian Foundation totaled more than $2.6 million to arts, education, civic, health and human services organizations.

Volunteerism
Securian Financial Group encourages and values the volunteer involvement of our associates in the community. By sharing their talents and time, our associates make unique and valuable contributions to the well-being of our community. Securian provides a number of Company-initiated volunteer opportunities, including United Way, Junior Achievement, the Multicultural Excellence Program and presentations at local schools.
